Been a while..

Been a while since i have been blogging again,
Will try my best not to leave this stagnant..


Well, holidays are finally here again.

Sometimes, i find this really weird cos there are times when you look forward so much to holidays so that you can stone or just have a time for yourself but yet there are also times when you just want to get back to school or work, to reality and get back to that busy life again. Life can be so contradicting.


So highlights for this week:

Had various belated birthday celebrations with various groups of people. Thanks everyone for making my birthday this year meaningful, really appreciate it, though didn't get a chance to celebrate on actual day.:) Am finally 18!


Went Brewerks to learn more about beer-making process, was really educational. Really brings back a lot of food and beverage theories.












Here's how one of the fermenting tanks look like where the enzymes will ferment the mixture at very low temperatures and will remain in the tank and the duration will be dependent on whether it is lager or ale.

Then we had a beer-tasting experience. Not really a big fan of alcohol at this point in time but it is the first time i really try to appreciate it.

Hope i can spend this holiday meaningfully and that is to learn something new.

Merry Christmas!!
Just came back from Genting Highlands.. Haven't been there in a while... That place has really changed.. Feel like i have been left behind..Hahas. It was greater than what i expected..

Really nice to go there around Christmas as you can really feel the atmosphere of Christmas not because of the constant playing of Christmas songs being played in almost every shops, lol, but because of the weather there. Super cold man.. just like winter..well, at least that is the closest that i can get for now...feels like a winter wonderland:)

There were also people doing caroling there, looks like fun. Can't wait for christmas celebrations tomorrow.

Thoughts of the day

My stressful days are coming back to haunt me again. Exams, projects, assignments, more projects...

But its really nice to able to get away from all that once in a while, find a nice sanctuary.

Well, strangely for me, that would be working, being able to work with my colleagues and being able to serve customers and seeing the smiles on their faces when they appreciate the service offered...Though it can get very frustrating.. customers never cease to amaze me..There was this interesting customer who spoke to me in a variety of languages! Even french! Hehe..I was so excited cause i could practice, french test coming up.LOL.

Got to go rush my BCS assignment, need to hand in tomorrow.. only realize that yesterday..how nice...

Chocolate=Happiness

Now I finally understand why so many people around the world are crazy about chocolates..LOL Guess everyone needs to experience a little bit of happiness once in awhile in this dark world we live in..hahas

So went to Jurong Point today, the place was damn crowded.. Filled with families.. come to think of it, i just realized, its already the school holidays. So sad, Poly holidays are so different from primary,secondary schools and JCs..Oh well..

Finally decided to start reading my thick psychology textbook today. Quite interesting but very theoretical..

Need to get some sleep soon,still need to work tomorrow.signing off, au revoir:)

Very tiring day

The weather is really getting to me today. Was so tired and blur today.
Wait a minute, i think i AM blur everyday..hahas

I rush to school all the way for nothing today cause turn out no tutorial for geography for travel and tourism...Then later nearly forgot about my psychology lecture notes, Nicole was holding on to it not realizing that it was not hers.hahas.Thankfully I realized it before the lesson started.

Had to do a skit for psychology tutorial today..
I was super nervous, as usual and end up with robotic performance...
"Great work!" Really hope i can overcome that fear soon..

My first entry?

Hi people,
Well, i will now officially try to update this blog as much as i can.
Not exactly a very IT savvy person..hahas.

I will now talk about the events yesterday.
After working, I went with han and her godparents to this hawker centre at Newton called "Newton Circus".
It wasn't exactly a typical hawker centre but it caters more to tourists since its still near the Orchard area.
It was a very touristy place with a lot of "Uniquely Singapore" posters around.
I later learn this place was famous world wide as any tourist who have been to Singapore would have heard of this place.
When it was nearly torn down in the early 1990s, people from all over the world actually signed a petition to stop its destruction.
Sounds so cool... I had no idea despite wanting to be in the H&T industry.

Ok, signing off, going to watch HSM3 again!! Long story...
